Christopher Shepardson operates the family business to serve the families in the central New York community. Christopher, licensed since 1991, has been active in all roles at the funeral home and has served on many boards and civic organizations here in the Syracuse area. Thomas Shepardson, the former president and manager of the firms, died unexpectedly in 2003.
Matthew Klinger, a funeral director licensed in New York and Pennsylvania, joined the firms in 2014. Matt has been a licensed funeral director since 1979 and has worked in family owned funeral homes all his career.
Janelle Kraus, a funeral director licensed since 2014 and on staff since September 2023, assists in the family business. She is a Syracuse native and has worked for various funeral homes in New York State. She is an active member of the Syracuse community, serving with organizations such as the Syracuse Inner City Rotary Club.
Together, Chris, Matt & Janelle handle all the daily tasks at the funeral homes and provide dignity and respect to all who place their trust in them.
