Norma Lou Oddo (Truax) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Sunday May 16th at the age of 90. She was born on September 23, 1930 in Ogdensburg, NY to the late Murton Melvin & Dorothy Marion Truax. She worked as an accomplished bookkeeper, a role she loved for over 40 years, while raising a family with her beloved, late-husband Joseph Harvey Oddo Sr., whom she was married to for 45 years. When asked, Norma would always confirm that her family was her greatest joy and proudest achievement. She is survived by her 5 children, Joseph Harvey Oddo Jr., Christine Louise Ouderkirk, Sterling Murton Oddo, Bradford George Oddo & Brian Floyd Oddo; 9 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. A private memorial service will be held at the Lyncourt Wesleyan Church. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Francis House of Syracuse, NY.
