Obituary of Leslie D. Murray

Leslie D. Murray, 38, passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022 at University Hospital with her mother, sister and brother by her side.  Leslie graduated from Henninger High School.  She worked at several local restaurants, including Murray’s, which is owned by her family.  Seeking new adventures, she moved to Florida and continued waitressing.  Missing her family and friends, she moved back to Syracuse. 
Leslie was a kind, gentle, free spirit.  Although she faced many challenges in her young life, she always found the strength needed to move in a new direction.  Her ability to battle adversity was never in question.
Leslie is pre-deceased by her father John Murray.
She is survived by her mother Patricia; sister Kara (Roger); brother Patrick; two daughters Keira and Madison; and numerous loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
Services are private and burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the compassionate care given to Leslie in the Adult ICA; especially Dr. Lucia, Jen from Palliative Care and nurses: McKenzie, Jeremy and Beth.
