Obituary of Margaret Brzostek

Margaret Brzostek, 75, of Syracuse, died on June 6, 2022 at Bishop Rehabilitation.  She was a former school crossing guard for the City of Syracuse and had also worked at the former James Square Nursing Home.  She was a communicant of Transfiguration Church.
She was pre-deceased by her parents: Joseph and Sophie Ciborowski Brzostek; sister Diane Stellato and brother David Brzostek.
She is survived by her sister Barbara McCarthy of Lanoka Harbor, NJ; a sister-in-law Janet Brzostek of Syracuse; a niece and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Friday at 9:30 in Transfiguration Church with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.  Calling hours are Thursday, June 9 from 4-6pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home.
