Obituary of Arthur W. Grady

Arthur W. Grady, of Camillus, passed away peacefully at home on September 6, 2022 at the age of 82.  He was born in Syracuse on May 25, 1940 to William and Sophia (Cico) Grady.  Art was a loving husband, father, papa, brother and uncle.
He served in the Army National Guard from 1960-1966.  Art was an electrician with IBEW Local 43 for over 50 years.  He was a communicant of Holy Family Church and a member of the Holy Name Society.
Art loved everything Irish and was so proud to also be a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.  Above all, Art was a family man, enjoying family get togethers, attending his grandchildren’s sporting events and school functions.
He was predeceased by his parents; a daughter Jennifer Connell; and brother in law Paul Connelly.
Living to cherish his memory, loving wife and best friend of 59 years Sharon; daughter Stacey (Jay) Ginestro;  sons: Timothy & Sean; son in law Jim Connell; grandchildren: Joshua, Jacob, Jordan, Allison, Matthew, Tatum & Nolan; sisters: Diana Connelly, Nancy (Tim) Bunn; brothers: Bill (Maryanne) Grady, Jay (Pam) Grady; aunt Marie Murray; several cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and his fur baby Bailey.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, September 13 at 11am in Holy Family Church.  Calling hours will be Monday from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James St.
