Tom, Patrick and Sheila, Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. Jeannie was a kind soul and a Sweetheart. I did see her over the years when she would walk Primrose long before your Dad passed. I will always keep Jeanie and your family in my thoughts and prayers’. May her life eternally be forever peaceful with the Lord.

I started working as a maternity nurse in 1996. Jean took me under her wing and taught me to be the best maternity nurse I could be. I was also fortunate to co-teach childbirth education classes with Jean for many, many years. Jean was loved by so many and will be greatly missed. Rest easy.

Jean was a great mother and sister in law. She delivered Jason Furman during the January 1978 snowstorm. The Dr's had to get to hospital ( new St Marys Hospital) via snow mobiles. She was a devoted nurse until the job was completed. Dr did not make it until seconds prior to the birth, she sat in delivery room all night and day with me. She came in specifically for her nephews birth. Jean had such a nice for design, from her homes to the details of her Christmas trees. Later in life as she began her end journey we would sit at family visits and just softly speak so not to tax her condition. She was a good girl and raised three beautiful, successful children who all have same career drive as Jean. Her battle never made it easy to communicate, but she was always in my heart and prayers. We are all so proud of Jer, Jenn and Mike(y) and the families they created. GOD speed Jean, your reward is your children and your memories. Death can never steal that from us. Thank you for all you did through the years for our family. We love you. ❤

Jeannie taught me how to be a labor nurse. She was the best. A good friend. We celebrated St Patrick's Day together for many years. She, Judy, Mary Lou and I celebrated our birthdays together for many years. She showed me how to be a shopper. She encouraged me when I went to midwifery school and was wonderful to work with when I came back to SMH. We all loved her. She was so proud of her family. Alzheimer's is a thief. Love to all of you, especially Mike, Jeremy, and Jennie. Your mom was the best. Now she can rest.

Michael, Jennie and Jeremy, she was the BEST Mom. Loved you all so much. Jean was a brilliant nurse and all her patients remember her. The truly unfair part of her life was that Alzheimer’s stole her. I love you all.

Jenny, Michael, Jer, such sad news but she is at rest. I just loved her and yes she delivered both my kids and took her classes and had visits with her in the southside house.
Loved her dedication to her job , her laugh, her humor. She was a good beautiful lady and friend. Rest in peace Jean and know you are loved.

Mike, Jere & Jennie. My sincere condolences to you and your families. My first thoughts went to the conversations we had at SMI during games. There was always great pride when talking about whatever you were all doing at the time. May your fond memories always bring you warmth and joy. Sending hugs. RIP Jean as you step into Heaven and peace surrounds you now.
