Obituary of Marian D. Fleischman

Marian Dolores (Luczak) Fleischman¸ 100 years young passed away on Monday, September 19th.  Born and raised in the Syracuse area, Marian graduated from Vocational High school in 1942, where after she worked briefly at ElectroAd and then Syracuse Foundry for the next 25 years and then Syracuse Cold Storage all as a bookkeeper.  She was an avid member of Blessed Sacrament Church and a member of the Altar Rosary Society where she volunteered in their food pantry.  Marian loved playing bingo especially at the turning stone with her friends.  Her biggest joy was being a mother and grandmother.   She is predeceased by her husband John P. Fleischman, her son John F. Fleischman and her sisters: Anne, Regina, and Francis.
She is survived by her son Robert P Fleischman (Christine); daughter-in law Virginia; her grandchildren: Elizabeth, Jonathan, Nicole, Patrick, and Kate as well as seven great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
She will be deeply missed by all and is loved by so many.
The funeral mass will be held on Friday at 10:30 in Blessed Sacrament Church with entombment to follow in St. Mary’s Mausoleum.  Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home.
