Obituary of Barbara B. Stachelek

Barbara B. Stachelek, 88, of Camillus, died on July 29, 2023 at her home.   She had retired in 2000 after more than 35 years from the Syracuse City School District.   She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament, a member of the Altar & Rosary Society and volunteered in the Food Pantry.  Barbara was a SU fan, enjoyed traveling with her family many times to Rhode Island and other places and going to the Casinos.  She loved her pets and all of her extended family.
Her husband Richard died in 1998. 
She is survived by her daughter Sheila (Gary) Osborne; son Stephen (Mary) Stachelek; grandchildren: Jessica (Vincent) Yam, Jennifer Osborne, Jeffrey & Casey Stachelek; a cousin and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, August 3 at 10:30am in Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.  Friends may greet the family from 9:30-10:30 before mass in Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Blessed Sacrament Outreach Program.
