Obituary of Dorothy M. Beil

Dorothy Marie Beil, of Fremont Hills in East Syracuse ,born Nov. 8th 1920 passed away on Friday, May 24, 2013 at her home. She had formerly worked at EW Edwards and is a former volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was a member of the Beta Chi sorority, a communicant of St. Matthew's Church. In her younger years she enjoyed painting, gardening, golfing, bowling and ceramics. Her loving husband Lawrence passed away on Feb.22nd 2013. She is survived by her three children, Kristin (Roger) Kaufman, David (Ok-Cha) Beil, and Karen (Dan) Borchik, her sister Lorraine Wethje; grandchildren, Michelle Kravetz, Karin (Guy) Falcone, Justin (Susan) Borchik, Ryan Borchik, David Borchik, Brenton Beil, Trevor (Lorella) Beil, Sulki Ko, as well as ten Great-Grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a member of the Socialaires Dance Club, and she and Lawrence enjoyed spending winters at their home in Florida and their many bus trips with their friends, the "In-Betweeners" Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 5:30-7pm at the Welter-Price Funeral Home. A Funeral mass will be Monday at 10:30am in St. Matthew's Church with burial to follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Heart Association. Family would like to give a special Thank You to" L'il" Kathy and " chatty" Cathy for their loving care to Mom over the past 4 months.
