Nancy Barone, 74, of Syracuse, died on Wednesday ay Crouse Hospital. She had worked for over 25 years at Huntington School, where she loved working with the children in the cafeteria. She had formerly worked at St. Mary's Hospital. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. Mrs. Barone enjoyed bowling, going to the Casino with her husband once a week and spending time with their 3 dogs: Norton, Kirby and Jazz.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Roy; her sons: Anthony and Jeff (Resa); her sister Kathy Caruso; her granddaughter Jenna and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass will be held on Saturday at 10:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in Assumption Cemetery.
