Martin Satalino, 90, of East Syracuse died on May 19, 2024 at St. Joseph’s Hospital.  He was a Veteran of the US Army, a graduate of Syracuse University, and retired from New Process Gear after 37 years as a time study engineer.  He enjoyed golfing and followed the career of Phil Mickelson and Tiger Woods.  Martin also was a SU football and basketball fan and loved traveling with his family.  He loved to take pictures and plant tomatoes in his backyard garden.  He was an avid reader and volunteered at St. Joseph’s Hospital.
He was pre-deceased by his parents Anthony & Mary Satalino; son Anthony and daughter Ann Marie DelPriore.  
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Carmella “Fornaro”; sons: Frank (Celina), Anthony (David); son-in-law Dominic DelPriore; sisters: Angela Bort, Tina (Harlon) Bort, Joanne (Irv) Bort; grandchildren: Ruby Satalino, Mark Anthony Satalino, Michael Evans Satalino, and Stephanie Satalino, Domenico DelPriore.
A funeral mass will be held on Thursday at 10am in St. Matthew’s Church with interment to follow in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
Calling hours are Wednesday from 5-8pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
