Kenneth Hinman Jr. 55, of Rome passed away Sunday August 4, 2013 at home. He was born on March 28, 1958. Ken is survived by his loving parents, Ken and Mary Hinman, sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorrie and David Aiello and Susan and Michael Donohue, his beloved nieces and nephews Danielle Aiello Mendoza and her husband Guillermo, Dave Aiello, and his wife Jess, Jessica and Brandon Donohue, his treasured great nieces and nephew, Isabella, Nina and Luca, his Uncle Buddy and Aunt Ann Hinman, cousins Mike and Jeff. He is predeceased by his beautiful cousin, Lori Hinman. Special friends include Edward Duffy and Myles and Kim from The Finish Line along with many others.
Kenny always kept family members entertained with stories about piloting a small plane to living in Iceland, working on a fishing boat. He was a kind and caring man and will be missed by many. Our family will cherish many years of summer vacations on Cape Cod and camping in the Adirondacks. One of his favorite quotes says it all, " How far you go in life depends on your being tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant of the weak and the strong, because someday you will have been all of these."
