Having only met Andy once, I didn't know him well, but I remember he had the softest hands ever. He was bright and talented, and he would have gone so far in life. My heart aches for Andy's family and friends-- you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am sorry to hear about Andrew’s death. We are still in shock, especially that we just had meetings, special Deaf show and share to meet Deaf people for evening social. He already had more people in mind to take to the interpreters and ASL students.
Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight. May your memories give you strength.

I pray through the mercy of God poured out for us; Christ's Most precious blood; depending on that blood of love I pray for Andrew. I pray through the immaculate Heart of Mary in whose semitary his body will rest untill the day of glory when Christ will raise our mortal bodies to be like His own in glory. I pray that this lover of travel will fly with the angels to the ultimate destination, the true and only destination we are all longing for. I pray the St. Michael and his angels will lift him up and the Maryters will welcome him. I pray that others who studied with him that great art of interpreting will be helped by Andrew's prayers as they help our beloved brothers and sisters here on earth who are Deaf. May he now rest from his labors for his good deeds go with him. Amen

To the Prior family and friends,
I'm truly sorry for this untimely and tragic loss. Andy was an amazing guy with a fabulous personality. His joy was so contagious and it rubbed off on me during the short time I've known him. We had run-ins through Boston Deaf Professional Happy Hour, ASL gatherings and mostly, I was honored he volunteered his time ( Saturdays!! ) with the deafblind community.
Andy will be sorely missed! May you find comfort knowing that Andy was well liked and respected!
Warm regards online and healing for this time of sorrow.

Even when he was a young boy, I never knew how Andy's body could contain his active, dramatic, lively spirit. We are better people for knowing Andy and we will carry his loving spirit in our hearts.

Andy was an amazing person! so warm and friendly and always ready for a hug. :-) He volunteered for me here at DEAF, Inc. and he was just so good at helping people and making the most of his volunteer time. He was often my go-to guy for big events, becuase I knew he could be counted on to get the job done.
I will miss Andy so much, especially his smile and laugh (and his hugs).
A prayer for his family and friends here in Boston and in NY.
