Although I only met Ralph in the last year of his life I really felt a I made a great friend. His witty and sassy personality always put a smile on anyone's face. His kind heart and compassion for others made him a shining star. I am very sad by Ralphie's passing, but happy that he is a better place. My condolences to all his loved ones and family. It was great getting see you and spend time with Ralph even if it was for a little while. I will see you on the flip side my friends! R.I.P

My Dear Cousin.... I will never forget the love and kindness you gave to my mother, your Aunt Peg(Margaret Fabian) for so may years. You were also a life saver to our Aunt Jean who became your "mother" and confidant. It is true, the earth became a better place the day you were born. I will never forget your blonde hair and bright blue eyes and your wonderful laugh. Sharing our canned tomato soup on Fridays at your childhood home, on Chester Road with all of our cousins, is one of my fondest memories. Kiss and hug my mother and sister when they greet you with open arms - you will live forever in our hearts !
California Cousin Dianne

Ralphy,
OMG, I didn't know it was you transitioning at Michael & Nick's, Dorothy House. I have been searching for you for awhile and noone seemed to have seen you or know where you were. I know you are out of pain and flying high with those oh so "GOLDEN WINGS" and all your "SISTERS" who have gone before you, like your Sister Lee.
We had so many great adventures in our time, doing some crazy s___t! You were so damn funny and dance coudl you dance Mary, but you lived it lovingly and had a ball.
I remember the time you drove up to my apt with a
6-foot blown up Gumby in a 2-seater convertie for Adam's 2nd. birthday, blasting the Happy Birthday song; my God the neighbors didn't know what to think and you didn't care ... LOL ... it was for your Adam. You were the bomb Uncle Ralphy!
I am so sad and wish I'd known, I would've been there for you my dear friend.
I will always love you and you will always hold a space in my heart.
Always & Forever,
Momma Byrd
