He remained in Dayton where he lived a life filled with many good friends.. As a social worker he spent his entire career helping the Mentally Ill. His retirement years were also filled with community service involved in the work of a local food pantry and his association with AA. He was a sports enthusiast. He was an avid Syracuse Fan, as well as the Dayton Flyers, Cleveland Browns and NY Yankees. Despite all his years in Dayton, Syracuse was always HOME. In heaven to greet him are his parents George and Anne Hopkins Chase and his brother Jack.
