Obituary of Yolanda Rose Pietrantoni

Yolanda Rose Pietrantoni 88, of Syracuse passed away Sunday at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born on November 8, 1925 in Syracuse the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Oliva Baratieri Pietrantoni. She attended and graduated from St Lucy's School and then began her career with New York Telephone and retired in 1982 after nearly 40 years of service. She was devoted to her faith and her family, her family could always count on her to pray for them. Yolanda was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and a member of the Legion of Mary at St. Lucy's. She was also a member of AT&T Telephone Pioneers. Yolanda is survived by her brother: Alfred Pietrantoni and several nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 1st at 10 am in St. Matthews Church, 229 W. Yates St, East Syracuse, NY 13057. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 28, from 4-7pm at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street.
