Obituary of Sally A. Greco

Sally A. Greco, 77, of Syracuse, died peacefully on Monday at her home. She worked for a number of years as a waitress at the Hotel Syracuse and had formerly worked at Galuppi's Cafe. Sally was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. She had served as the president of the PTO for Huntington and Eastwood Junior High. Sally loved her garden, camping, bowling, St. Patrick's Day, the New York State Fair, the Yankees, traveling - especially to Wildwood, and her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Peter P. Greco; sons: Michael (Renata) Greco, Peter P. (Christina) Greco Jr.; daughter, Michele (David) Buck; grandchildren: Scott (Julia) Buck, Melina Buck, Peter V. Greco, Anthony Greco, Peter Greco III, Alicia Greco and Vincent Greco. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 9:30am at Blessed Sacrament Church with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Blessed Sacrament Church Outreach Program.
