Obituary of Bertha Evans

Bertha Evans, 94, died September 3 at University Hospital. Bertha was very active in many organizations within Transfiguration Parish as well as being a member of: the Christian Mothers Club, Altar and Rosary Society, and the Altar Flower Ladies.
She was predeceased by her husbands Stanley Popkowski and Ralph Evans; her three brothers; Stanley, Alexander, and Chester Zubrowski.
She is survived by her daughter Carol (David) Orbino; her granddaughter Marisa Orbino and her brother Henry (Jean) Zubrowski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at Transfiguration Church 740 Teall Ave. at 9:30 am. Burial will follow at the Assumption Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Transfiguration Church.
