Gertrude Howland, 96 formerly of Syracuse and West Monroe, passed away peacefully at James Square on Friday, January 30th. Gertrude was pre-deceased by her husband Robert, her parents were George and Mildred Phillips, and her brothers George and James Phillips
She is survived by her son Richard (Sherron); grandson Nathaniel (Julie); great-grandsons Andrew and Ross; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
Gertrude's family would like to express their gratitude to James Square, especially the staff of A South, for their friendliness, kindness and compassion. We will miss you and appreciate everyone of you.
