Obituary of Richard G. Rosivach

Richard G. Rosivach, 47, of New York City and formerly of Syracuse, died Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital. He had trained to be a chef at Le Cordon Bleu Cooking School and the Culinary Institute of America. He had worked at many fine restaurants in Syracuse and NYC as a Sous Chef. While working at Anthony Vincent's as the head chef, a restaurant visited by the Mayor of Syracuse, the restaurant received rave reviews. He had also worked at Antonio's, where he met the actress, Debbie Reynolds. Richard was a funny, adventurous and outgoing individual who loved his entire family. His father Raymond died in 2005. Richard is survived by his mother Mary Rosivach of Syracuse; sister Caroline Balduzzi of Syracuse; 2 nephews: Robert R. Lopez, Anthony A. Balduzzi Jr.; a niece Nicole Balduzzi; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, April 11 at 10am in Transfiguration Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum.
