June S. (Sabha) Mermigos, 78, passed away on April 17, 2015. She was born in Syracuse, NY. Predeceased by her husband of 57-years, Theodore G. Mermigos, her parents Helen and Andrew, and sisters Marion Abdo and Lillian Mahshie. Surviving are her three daughters: Elizabeth, Mary, Terry; son: Theodore, Jr. (Cathy); four grandchildren: Ryan, Kadie, Sandra, and Summer, and many nieces and nephews. June was cherished by her children and the most loving mother. Her intense excitement for Syracuse University Basketball is collectively shared with her children. June was the Office Assistant at Syracuse University's Center for Instructional Development for 17-years and Customer Service Manager for Kaufmann's/Macy's for 23-years.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, April 22, from 4 to 7 at Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James St.
The Funeral will be at Saint Sophia's Greek Orthodox Church on Thursday, April 23 at 12 p.m. Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to: Hospice of CNY.
