Obituary of Laura M. Sobotka

Laura M. Sobotka, 96, of Syracuse, died on Saturday at Elderwood in Liverpool. Mrs. Sobotka had formerly worked at Prestolite. She was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church and a member of the American Legion Pulaski Post Auxiliary.
She was pre-deceased by her husband of 70 years, Walter.
She is survived by 3 daughters: Kathleen (Daniel) Ptak of Baldwinsville, Sandra (Sidney) Burkhart of Baldwinsville, Marsha (James) Roberts of Liverpool; a brother Edward Ciszewski of North Syracuse; a sister Bertha Kordek of Northville, NY ; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10am at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home and at 10:30 in the Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be Tuesday in Onondaga County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday from 4-7pm at the funeral home.
