Obituary of Nancy M. Madden

Nancy Lee Morgan LaManche Madden, 79, of Syracuse, died on Monday at Francis House. She graduated from Eastwood High School in 1953 and attended CCBI. She had formerly worked at General Motors until 1969. She was a member and very involved with James Street United Methodist Church for the past 68 years. Nancy had also ushered at the Salt City Playhouse and was an avid NY Yankees fan. She was pre-deceased by her parents Elmer and Helen Morgan; her first husband and father of her son, Leonard LaManche; her second husband Michael Vernon; and sister Gwyn Haar. She is survived by her son Lee Leonard LaManche; sisters-in-law: Virginia LaManche, Eleanor O'Connor, Rosemary McArdle; brother-in-law Matthew Haar; several nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews; and many friends. A celebration of Nancy's life will be held on Friday at 10am in the James Street United Methodist Church, 3027James Street.
