Obituary of Betty June Riley

Betty June Aigeltinger Riley, 82, died on Friday, June 12, 2015 in Wichita, Kansas. She was a native of Syracuse and retired to Florida for 20 years. Later relocated to live with her daughter, Debbie for 6 years. She was Valedictorian of her class when she graduated from North High School. Mrs. Riley was a former election inspector for the City of Syracuse and member of the St. James Church Altar & Rosary Society. She volunteered for the Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Fl. While in Wichita she volunteered for Music Theater League, Broadway Theater League, and the Lord's Diner. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Wichita.
Her husband of 45 years, John R. Riley, died in 1998.
She is survived by her son Michael (Terry Deere Riley) of Albany; her daughters: Debbie (Will Williams) Riley-Williams of Wichita, Dr. Sheree (Dr.Robert Davison) Riley Violon of Orange County, CA; 3 grandchildren; 4 nieces and a nephew.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015 at 9:45 at the Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home and at 10:30 am in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Interment to follow in St. Mary's Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4-7pm at the Funeral Home, 1217 N. Salina Street, Syracuse 13208.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church, 861 N. Socora, Wichita, KS 67212 or to the Alzheimer's Association of Central & Western Kansas, 1820 East Douglas Avenue, Wichita, KS 67214.
