Chuck Angus, 85 of East Syracuse passed away peacefully on December 16, 2015 after a brief illness. Chuck was born on January 16, 1930 to Noah and Nina Angus in Dexter, NY. He was an Army veteran in the Korean War. He retired in 1992 from the Teamsters Union. Chuck was very proud of his Native American Heritage. He also enjoyed watching the Washington Redskins and NY Yankees. Chuck was predeceased by his wife of 30 years, Eileen Angus in 2010; his son, David C. Angus; his parents, Noah and Nina Angus; and two sisters, Lena and Ruth. He is survived by his children; Sherry Angus, Debbie Angus, Christina Angus, Diane Parrish and Nicole Chapman; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His step-children; Debbie Garvey, David Damon, Linda Bliss, Donna Pahl, Eileen McGrath, Michael Damon, Frank Millard and their families; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions in Chuck's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, CNY Chapter, 441 W. Kirkpatrick Street, Syracuse, NY 13204.
