Robert C. DeDell Sr., 93, of Syracuse, died on Tuesday at Iroquois Nursing Home. He was a life resident of Syracuse and a veteran of the US Navy during WWII. Mr. DeDell was a teacher for over 20 years and had taught at Roxboro Road Middle School. He also was a linotype operator, enjoyed wood working and making stained glass.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Doris.
He is survived by his son Robert C. DeDell Jr. of Lafayette; daughter Anna L. DeDell of Syracuse; and grandchildren Cory, Sherry, Valarie DeDell.
A private service was held at the Frasier-Shepardson Funeral Home and interment was in Woodlawn Mausoleum.
