Obituary of Peter D. Costa

Peter Costa August 17, 2016 Peter Costa of Marcellus passed away Wednesday from a sudden illness. He was born in Syracuse, was a Boy Scout before graduating from Central Tech and Morrisville College. He worked at Allied/Linden Chemical and was a past president of the local Steelworkers Union. He had worked in the power sports industry for the past 30 years. An avid snowmobiler, he was a past president of the New York State Snowmobile Association and the Onondaga County Snowmobile Association, helped coordinate fund raising rides with the March of Dimes and was a member of several clubs. He enjoyed riding and rebuilding snowmobiles and motorcycles, fishing and reconnecting with friends on Facebook. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Debra (Burgmeier), son Michael, daughter Lori and his best buddy Bailey. There will be a private memorial service.
