James Stephen Cheslik

James Stephen Cheslik, 68, of Syracuse, died on Sunday at Francis House from A.L.S. He graduated from Central Tech in 1966 and was a veteran of the US Navy. Jim was the owner of J.S. Cheslik Property Services for 20 years. He was a communicant of Transfiguration Church, a former member of the parish council of St. Stephen Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 6282 and a Fourth Degree Grand Knight. His son Andrew has pre-deceased him.
He is survived his wife of 30 years Kathy (Delaney) Cheslik; brothers: John (Mary) of Niskayuna, NY, Michael of Syracuse; brother-in law Paul (Pat) Delaney of Liverpool, James Delaney of Minoa and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 12noon at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home and at 12:30in Transfiguration Church. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 10am-12 at the funeral home, 3111 James Street.
