After many years in the work force (Acme Markets), Loretta's dream of staying home was fulfilled. She loved to cook and bake, was a talented sewer and loved to her garden. Loretta was awarded two NYS Fair ribbons; one in culinary for her bread and butter pickles and one in arts and crafts for a beautiful Christmas Wreath.
Loretta loved her family and friends, picnics, parties, holidays and watching over her grandchildren. Always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone, offer some words of advice or provide a gentle touch, Loretta was a caregiver to several children in her later years.
She loved to play cards, board games, singing and listening to music, bingo and slot machines and was an avid NY YANKEES fan.............especially Derek Jeter!
Loretta had a beautiful smile and a wonderful sense of humor, made the world a happier place to live and will be dearly missed! She is the key to the magic toy shop; the prize in the cracker jack box.
