Dear Patty and family,
I was so shocked when I talked with you this evening and learned of your Mom's passing. I talked with her right before her surgery. She was filled with hope as always, and asked my sister and me to pray for her. We also promised we would visit her during her rehab. Since I didn't know where she was, I called several places to no avail. I finally made a connection with you; hence finding out what I didn't want to hear. She was a very special person, endured many things in her life, but always put a smile on her face and her faith was beautiful. Please accept our condolences and may the memories you hold in your hearts bring comfort and joy in this difficult journey.

I grew up on S. Midler Ave in Eastwood. My Father, Anthony Giuliani had rental properties there. When I was a young girl about 9 years old, your parents were tenants in one of the apartments. I believe they were just married. I remember them well. They were very nice. They gave me a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, I believe for my confirmation. When my Dad passed away in 1966, they came to the wake and Mom & I were so surprised. We thought it was so nice of them to remember us and come. I did not realize Mr. Murphy had already passed on. Some people leave lasting memories, especially of that era. My sincere sympathy to all of their family.

My deepest heartfelt condolences go out to my best friend, Patty Murphy Broader, and her family. Your mom was so full of love and positive energy from the first day I met her when we were in 7th grade, all the up to this past summer when I hit an emotional/mental roadblock. Her words of wisdom conutine to inspire me daily. She so graciously shared her morning spiritual routine with me: "I open my eyes, I pray and meditate on how grateful and beautiful each new day is, one day at a time." May you all cherish your memories of her and know she will forever be looking down on you all with her warm smile and loving energy.

My sincere sympathy to Theresa's family. I know how much she loved you. She suffered so much these last years, but she always seemed able to keep her sweet ways, laughing at my silly escapades, sharing our many childhood memories! I will miss my dear classmate. God bless her and her loved ones.
