Diane Macheda’s generous heart gave out after a long illness. She had recently returned from the Kansas City area where she lived for 40+ years and worked for the IRS. She was an avid KC Chiefs fan and had many interests - especially psychology in which she earned an MS degree. Diane was predeceased by parents Rose and Jim. Survivors: Sister Valeeta “Dee” Macheda, brother James “Rick” (Fran) Macheda, a niece, nephew and a number of cousins. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family wishes to thank everyone at PACECNY and St. Joseph’s Hospital for the loving care they gave Diane.
