Obituary of Catherine I. Pisiak

Catherine I. “Kitty” Pisiak, 93, passed away, peacefully, in her own home Wednesday July, 18. She was born April 15, 1925 in Syracuse the daughter of the late Michael and Julia Patala Lischak.Catherine was well known and well loved by all who knew her. She loved to cruise Syracuse in her Chrysler convertible. Catherine enjoyed her well manicured yard. She loved animals especially her dog Exodus and several rescue cats. Catherine was predeceased by her husband Matthew “Chipsy” in 1995 and one Brother and four Sisters. She is survived by one brother William (Martha) Lischak, as well as several Nieces and Nephews; her dear friend and neighbor Patsy Green, a her life long friend Joann Cleary and friend Randy Clark. As per Catherine’s wishes there will be no visitation. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday July 23 at ST. Matthews Church in East Syracuse at 11:00am. Burial will be in ST. Johns Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery.
