Robert A. Hughes, 79, of Syracuse, died at his home on Saturday. He was formerly employed by Jordan Paper Box Company. He enjoyed building things including his first house in Lacona, NY. He attended meetings at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness on Fayette Street.
He was predeceased by his parents Lee and Sarah Hughes and a brother Bernard.
Robert is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy; a daughter Sherry Hughes and several nieces and nephews.
Services to be scheduled at a later date with burial in White Chapel Cemetery in Dewitt.
