Obituary of Fatima A. Mirra

Fatima A. Mirra, 87, of Syracuse, died on Friday, March 29, 2019 at Bishop Nursing Center.  She enjoyed attending Senior Center functions with her husband.
Mrs. Mirra is pre-deceased by her husband Valardino “Bernie” and brothers Joseph & Americo LaBella.
She is survived by her son Mario J. Mirra; daughters Pauline (Brian) Shanley, Christine Sherwood; brother Angelo LaBella; grandchildren: Carissa & Kayla Shanley, Nicholas & Shelby Sherwood; great-grandchild Riley S. Sherwood and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and relatives may greet the family during calling hours on Friday, April 19 from 4-7pm at the Goddard-Crandall-Shepardson Funeral Home, 3111 James Street.  Funeral services and burial will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association of CNY.
