Joan C. Quackenbush, 86, of Las Vegas, NV, passed away at her home on March 12, 2019. She was born in Syracuse to the late George & Cora Smith of Brewerton, NY.
Joan loved her work of 20 years with Crouse Hinds in Syracuse, and later with the law office of McDonald, Ornelas, Prestia and Zipp in Edinburg Texas.
Joan is pre-deceased by her husband William Quackenbush, son Stephen Merluzzi, and a infant daughter Kathleen Ann Merluzzi.
She is survived by her brother Frederick (Janice) Smith, son Anthony (Carolina) Merluzzi, daughter Joanne Merluzzi; step daughters: Linda Barnes, Ann Frego; and eleven grand & great-grand children, plus two nieces and one nephew.
She will be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery. Services will be private.
