Obituary of Oril P. Summerville

Oril Patricia Summerville, 91, of Syracuse, died on Monday at Bishop Rehab.. She had worked as a hostess at McDonalds and formerly worked at NY Telephone. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and enjoys knitting and reading. She was pre-deceased by her husband George and parents: Edward and Ellen Asmus Phillips and brother Edward Phillips. She is survived by her son Mark Summerville of Charleston, SC; 3 daughters: Suzanne (William) Telesca of Cicero, Sherri (William) Kitts of Winchester, VA, Beth Summerville of Syracuse; 6 grandchildren Justin, Lauren, Amanda, Caitlyn, Allison, Andrew; a sister Carol (Arthur) Knapp of Charleston, SC; sister-in-law Liz Phillips; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
