Dear Lisa and Tom and John and Kristen, family, and friends, our hearts are sad as we learn from Jim and Ann Marie MacBride of the death of Jeanne. We very much regret that health problems have prevented for years our traveling to visit beloved family in New York. We are praying now that God will comfort and strengthen you with His precious presence and with sweet memories of many good times you shared with your dear mother and mother-in-law. We, too, have beautiful memories of her and of your dad. They will in our thoughts be forever young, strong, and special; and we are grateful that many friends and loved ones there thought them special as well. We are also very grateful that Jim and Ann Marie have kept us posted on our family in New York and especially that they have told us of many lovely visits with Jeanne in recent years. When talking with Jim Sunday before learning of Jeanne's accident and passing, I inquired of her; and he told me of her happily anticipated birthday celebration that would probably be rescheduled with hopes of better weather in safer times. Jeanne surely knew that she was dearly loved by family and friends
.
We appreciate and are enjoying the great photos and memories that have been posted on the tribute wall. Our hearts and thoughts are there with you as you say farewell to Jeanne until the resurrection. We will keep you in our prayers in the days ahead.
Love,
Cousins Alberta Rider Bovard and Jerry and Nancy Rider Moss

Dear Cousins; Thank you for your kind words. I wish we could have gotten together and reminisced about our families and how my Mom & Dad were when they were
young and invincible. I feel that John & I were so lucky to have my parents as long as we did and they were able to still enjoy their lives before they passed. My whole life was blessed because of them and I will use my wonderful memories to get thru this difficult time.
All my love, Lisa

I love this photo of Aunt Jean and her nephew, Jim MacBride. It was taken at John and Kristen's wedding in 2018. Lisa always made sure Aunt Jean was "dressed to the nines." My Father was proud to escort Jean, Mother of the Groom, on this special day.

Our hearts are missing this beautiful woman. But I am celebrating her reunion with Uncle Bob and her parents. Aunt Jean always made me feel special when we visited her and Uncle Bob in Syracuse. She showed me how to speak up for myself and how to be a proud woman. I loved her jokes and sarcastic humor. She was easy to talk to and listened with complete interest and without judgement. A kindred spirit for certain.
My sons and I had dinner with Aunt Jean, John and Kristen last summer. The boys remember her warm smile and how she inhaled every bite of her 5 Guys burger and fires. Impressive!
Sending condolences and love to John, Lisa, Tom and Kristen.
Family forever.
Love, Brad, Kristen, Robby and Drew Bradshaw

Kristen, Your thoughtful words are so greatly appreciated.
My Mom loved your parents like a brother & sister and she thought the world of you and your brother. When you brought the boys to Syracuse last year and you all went
to lunch you helped John & I because that happy time & the love she felt from you, made that day for her. That helped extend the time we had with her. I am so happy that you were able to spend that special time together.
All my love to you & your family...

Lisa and John: Our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences....What a wonderful and caring person Jeanne was and I will always remember her kindness to me and to every one she met. Bob remembers all the laughter Jeanne and he shared...one of his favorite moments of laughter was talking about how he and his brother Gerry, as small terrrors, used to aggravate Uncle Johnny to know end by ripping through his perfectly trimmed, perfectly symmetrical hedge that he was so proud of! Bob also remembers his cousin Jeanne as someone that was more than a cousin ....more like a big sister to he and his brothers...someone that they could always talk to. Jeanne had the ability to make everyone around her feel like they were being heard and what they had to say was important.....leaving behind a wonderful legacy.....remembering Jeanne not with sadness but with much love. Love, Bob & Carol Maslona

Bob & Carol,
Thank you for the thoughtful memory of my Mom as a teenager. She loved you, Stan, Paul, Gerry, Skip and Greg like brothers and was thrilled that you did look up to her and asked her for advice. She was so happy when she would receive letters & cards when the both of you were traveling and really enjoyed when we came to Florida and went out for Strawberry Pie. You were always in her thoughts even while she suffered from Alzheimer’s.
Sending you my love.. Lisa

My Sincerest Condolences to Lisa & John on the passing of your Most Wonderful Mom, and My Most AWESOME Aunt Jeanne. SHE, along with her cousin Johnny Maslona were my Favorite members of the Maslona family, and she brought a smile to my Soul every time I thought of her. She was a witty, funny, unassuming, non-judgemental, loving, caring, and most Kindhearted a person as one could be. I had the pleasure of corresponding w/her as recently as a few years ago, and now wish I had taken the time to write more. I'm quite sure she knew that I loved her dearly, so that shall have to do for now. I know she lived a great life, and felt the love being surrounded by her kids both two and four legged! She was a Hoot! This World Should All Be So lucky to have someone like her in their lives.
Rest Easy, my dearest Aunt Jeanne.

Greg, When I read your post I started to cry because this was the true picture of who my Mom was and how she loved people & enjoyed life. We always felt you were our coolest cousin & my Mom loved hearing from you & enjoyed wearing the jewelry you sent. I hope she is reunited with your Mother whom she looked up to and loved like a sister. Much love to you... Lisa

So sorry to hear about Mrs. MacBride. My condolences to the entire family. I remember tagging along with her and my Grandma Falter for Sunday mass at St. Matthew’s Church. She was so sweet and always had a smile on her face.
