Sending my sympathy late to all of you at the loss of your beloved father. He was special to me. Whenever he saw me out he was so kind and friendly and very interested in what I was doing. I am late with this as I had surgery and was in a Rehab Facility the whole month of Oct. I would certainly have come to his Funeral Mass. I did keep him in prayer from his illness on and continue to keep his soul in prayer on my prayer list. He is now with his beloved Sandie who he missed so much. I will be sending a check in his name to In My Fathers Kitchen, my favorite charity. Blessings and love to all of you. Sincerely, Elaine M. Lostumbo

I met and knew Frank through a Hospice group where we shared the loss of our spouses. Frank was a kind and thoughtful man with many questions. I will always remember the walk through "Lights on the Lake" my daughter and I took with him a few years back, the hot chocolate he bought us before we turned around for the 2 mile hike back to our cars and convincing me I COULD after I doubted it.
It's been awhile since I've seen him but I will miss him and his quirky laugh. My condolences to his family and may he rest in peace.

10/16/2020 To the Szatanek Family. So sorry to hear of your Dad’s passing. I went through grade school at Transfiguration School on Vann St. with him and remember him as a well mannered, friendly classmate who was always nice to all his classmates. I also 1st met your Mom at Upstate Medical where we both worked and always enjoyed seeing her at the TS with your Dad. She and I had so many conversations as we were donating to the cause at the TS. Your Family will be remembered in my prayers. It was such a pleasure knowing them both. God Bless you all and give you strength to get through this difficult time. Barbara (Tyminski) Esposito

On a personal note Frank and I had lunch together in mid-February at our favorite place the B’ville Dinner. We had a wonderful visit. I didn’t know Frank was not feeling well but shortly thereafter Frank was admitted to Crouse Hospital and was diagnosed with several forms of cancer. I tried to reach him several times and finally I spoke with his daughter Denise and she told me that Frank has been at Crouse for over a month and had returned home under the care of Hospice. I last spoke with Frank on March 14th and gave him an update on Jeanne Greco whom he was concerned about.
Frank and I would occasionally see each other during a mid-week Mass at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton (SEAS) in Baldwinsville. Frank also helped drive Father Dan Mulhauser, SJ to or from B’ville from LeMoyne College for either a Saturday or Sunday Mass at SEAS.
I am so glad Frank and I saw each other in February and the last time we spoke was on March 14th just a few days before he joined Our Lord…. As indicated in our HS yearbook Frank will always be “Everybody’s Buddy!” May he Rest In Peace.

I worked with Frank many years ago at Aetna. A nicer person there never was. My deepest condolences to the family.
