Sending Joe's family my deepest sympathy on their loss of this lovely man. I worked with Joe in the Service to the Armed Forces program of the American Red Cross. He was devoted to his Red Cross volunteer time at the Syracuse VA and provided much needed support to those who worked at the VA in support of the veteran patients. I had the honor of being with Joe when he received the VA Voluntary Services Award at the Syracuse VA in June 2018. I have included the two photos from that day.
There are no words to express my heartfelt sympathy to Joe's family.
