Doris was one of the sweetest ladies I ever knew. She was a faithful attendee and worker at the Lyncourt Wesleyan Church for about a half a century! She was my Sunday School treasurer/secretary for the years I was Sun. Sch. Supt. What a great help and encourager she was to me. We had many great times and visits with Doris. She truly was one of God's special saints. I miss her very much.

You were a very special lady Doris. You were a wonderful friend to my grandma. My family and I used to love visiting you on Halloween night. You always had a special treat for the kids. Heaven has a new angel ! Please give my gram a kiss for me. Love, Leslie Lax

To Doris's Family,
Doris and her Mom were our neighbors for all my life on Berkshire and they were the best neighbors that a person could have. I miss her Mom so much too cause I would talk or go see her every day just about when she was alive. She was a sweetheart and Doris took over for her too. Rest In Peace Doris and Hi to Mom for me too.

Lisa- remembering fondly a dear friend. Doris was one of the faithful people at the church. I knew she would always be at VBS as one of my cookies and juice ladies for refreshments. She loved being able to help with the kids. Remembering many shared dinners and birthdays with her, Charlotte and Tarbell, Sharon and Katie and me. Her presence has been missed, but I know she is whole and healthy up in heaven. I can imagine Charlotte was one of the first to greet her, and show her what a wonderful place heaven is. Love to you, dear friend. Even though we don't see each other any more, I have good memories of a wonderful friendship and watching our boys play together. Love to you. Faith

last Novemeber I organized a 75th anniversary celebration for the Lyncourt Wesleyan church wheich required a lot of research. Doris footprints were all over the history of our little church. Doris loved the Lord and knew that heaven, spending eternity with God was a free gift. She gladly accepted that gift years ago and lived her life with that confidence!!! I am sorry for your loss but happy for heavens gain. Can't wait to see doris in heaven!

I met Doris over 40 years ago at the Lyncourt Wesleyan Church. She always had a smile and was always busy. Sunday School, dinners, Bible Studies in her home, work, VBS, midweek programs. In more recent years at Heritage House, Van Dyne and finally Iroquoise her sweet spirit remained. She will be missed.
